Students from the Ernst-Abbe University in Jena Visit PI Ceramic

Students from the local university in Jena visited PI's site in Lederhose last November. This visit had been initiated by Professor Jörg Töpfer from the SciTec Precision-Optic Materials department.

Dr. Frank Müller, Team Leader Materials Development and Industrial Engineering, gave the students a tour of the piezo components manufacturing and Daniel Kopsch, Manager Product Division Multilayer, presented the multilayer manufacturing. The students and their professor were particularly impressed by the showroom, where Sebastian Günther, Engineer Sales – PIC DACH, stood by to answer their questions.

Due to its rapid growth, PI Ceramic has increased its employer branding and recruiting activities to raise public awareness of the company. In this context, PI Ceramic has also intensified interaction and networking with surrounding universities such as the Ernst-Abbe university in Jena.
