PI China Wins Impressive Hexapod Order Worth 3.3 Million Euros

In April 2023, PI China won an impressive order worth 3.3 million euros from a newly founded company. This new customer is the largest in Northeastern China and is specialized in optical metrology and optical fabrication. The order consists of twenty-one sets of K-Nr hexapods and nine sets of standard hexapods.

The K-Nr hexapod will be used for constructing interferometric measurement setups where it will take charge of positioning the tested optical components of the interferometric measurement system.

This opportunity started in October 2022 when it took more than half a year to understand the application, clarify the requirements, develop the customer relationship, align the main specifications, and prepare the proposal that we offered. After the customer had visited PI in Karlsruhe and the PI China office mid-March 2023, they finally decided to place the order with us.
