Following the large and sumptuous summer party in 2022 at the Bio-Seehotel Zeulenroda in conjunction with the company's 30th anniversary celebrations, PI Ceramic held this year’s summer party in a smaller setting on the company premises.
To this party, we were able to welcome around five hundred adults, seventy-six teenagers, and eighty-six children. We were particularly pleased about our guests from Karlsruhe: Karin Heck, Accounting, and Christian Heck, HR - Payroll, came especially for this event!
In the meantime, PI Ceramic has grown so rapidly that one pavilion was not enough and there were two instead.
There were plenty of culinary delights: As well as an extensive buffet with coffee, pastries, and a variety of cakes from Thuringia, there were platters of fruit and savory snacks with flaky pastry. In the evening, the guests could help themselves at the grill which offered a large variety of barbequed food. To go with this, there were salads, various baguettes and bread rolls, as well as baked potatoes. Additionally, guests could order delicious Italian ice cream or candy floss from the ice cream truck, or a roast chicken from the roast chicken stand organized especially. Guests could quench their thirst with red and green draft soda from the drinks stand.
For the “PI Ceramic offspring”, there were numerous attractions, such as a climbing hill, face-painting, and glitter tattoos, as well as pony and horse riding. The Lederhose fire brigade delighted the little ones with its emergency vehicles and water games. For the “older ones”, there was a twelve-meter-long bowling alley, as well as a bungee run (a large equipment game where participants are attached to elastic ropes by means of a waist belt and have to reach a goal).
Finally, DJ Power from Eisenberg provided dance music for the evening.
Many thanks to all participants for their active support, in particular Ronny Beilschmidt for the technical equipment and background music, as well as Matthias Ehrlich and his team. A big thanks also goes to Jan Oberröder and the apprentices for their help with the set-up and dismantling, as well as the logistic and organizational preparation!
