Dear Colleagues,

Around 2.54 million of Shanghai’s total population of around 25 million were still under the strictest form of lockdown on May 2, 2022. As the extensive lockdown goes into its fifth week, Chinese authorities show no sign of relaxing their now rather tired ‘zero Covid’ strategy. In fact, they are escalating.

These days, providing humanitarian support to Shanghai’s residents is a huge problem, and, as many more residents are affected by the consequences of the ‘zero Covid’ strategy, also some of our employees at PI Shanghai are struggling because of the lack of groceries.

PI Shanghai has made special logistic arrangements for groceries to be delivered to employees. As a result, PI’s Management has received a lot of thank you messages and feedback from the employees for their support.

Best regards
Raymond Quek
Managing Director PI Shanghai / Regional Head of Sales APAC
