Dear Colleagues,

After an extensive two months lockdown following the ‘Zero Covid’ policy, Shanghai has now been cautiously easing COVID-19 curbs, allowing more of its population to venture out, and putting vehicles back on its once busy streets. Shanghai is officially reopening on June 1, 2022, and most of our PI employees have been back to work. It is still challenging for our employees to get food around the office area.

Since residents need negative COVID-19 test results to be able to take public transport or enter any buildings, long queues can be observed at testing sites or vaccination centers everywhere.

Best regards
