C-Level Visits US Colleagues and Customers

Dear Colleagues,

At the beginning of September, we were finally able to travel to the US again and initiated some significant next steps: 

• Reconnecting with our US Colleagues
• 5 Customer Visits within 3 Days 
• First Briefing with Potential Project Partner in Laser Processing 

We visited all three US sites at the East Coast and were impressed by the set-ups and great work being done there. To give you some examples:

• In Nashua, we had the opportunity to take a closer look at the automation progress.
• In Hopkinton, we got introduced to the advances in our air bearing applications.
• In Auburn, it felt great to have meetings with our colleagues in person again and to experience their positive vibes and refreshing energy!

Moreover, we visited five of our customers together with our US colleagues. Overall, we gained positive feedback and it was important to discuss upcoming projects and to clarify questions after this long period of being limited in travelling and exchanging only virtually. Some highlights to be mentioned:

• Coherent Laser is very impressed with our existing projects in Europe and our presentation on company transformation and the blue chair concept. Joint expertise from our US team and the C-Level has effectively opened doors for new significant business opportunities.
• We met up with Instrumentation Lab / Werfen and discussed the cutting-edge application powered by our PIC solutions. We are convinced that this will be a big bang when it will be launched to the MedTec market with new opportunities for us at PI.
• TMC and Zygo: We have a long-standing partnership with both customers who are part of the Ametek Group and OEM clients of PI and PIC. It was great to catch up with long-term “friends" and we talked about significant growth opportunties and plans for the upcoming years.

We met a potential partner for a joint project in laser processing. We are still in the exploratory phase, however it was an inspriring exchange and encouraging to see the capabilities and potential we might leverage together.
