Felix Möhler in First Place at the B2Run Karlsruhe

June 16, 2023

On Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., behind the palace in Karlsruhe, the time had come again for: “On your marks! Get set! Go!”

A total of fourteen female runners and thirty-five male runners from PI competed in a 5.4 kilometer city run. Six athletes even dared to start as "high-flyers", which means running the race in less than five minutes per kilometer.

PI paid the entry fee for all participants and provided them with new running jerseys with the slogan "We are looking for smart innovations. AND YOU!"

Felix Möhler

The PI team won in two categories: Felix Möhler, Engineer Product Development, took first place among all the approximately 8,000 participants with a time of 17.35 minutes for the course. In addition, the PI team with Felix Möhler, Jakob Gieße, Philipp Wagner, Pascal Prestel and Gerard Lahakio secured first place in the category "fastest male team". Congratulations for this fantastic result!

At the B2Run, which is held in eighteen German cities, running is not only meant to promote individual health, but the run also supports meaningful causes. As in 2022, the entire running series is climate neutral. In addition, the organizers are supporting a hydropower project in Uganda this year. Furthermore, trees will be planted around the world for each registered team. For 2023, the aim is to plant 7,500 trees - the run in Karlsruhe alone will contribute around 330 trees towards this target.

By the way: One week later, on June 22, 2023, our colleagues from PI miCos will participate in the B2Run Freiburg for the first time. We are already keeping our fingers crossed for the five female and eleven male runners in Breisgau and wish them a great run!
