Global Head of Finance Starts on March 1, 2022 in COO Division

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to inform you about some organizational and personnel changes in the Finance and Controlling divisions.

From March 1, 2022, the functions of the Finance and Controlling divisions will move to my area of responsibility

Following temporary management by Markus Spanner, the functions from the Finance and Controlling divisions will move to my area of responsibility from March 1, 2022. The aim is to consistently control, and productively interconnect any related topics in Data Management, IT, Quality Management, Supply Chain, HR, Finance and Controlling across the PI Group.

Here, we are hoping for stronger synergies, end-to-end solutions, and more direct communication in my closely coordinated team

Waldemar Ungefug Starts as Global Head of Finance on March 1, 2022

For the superordinate management of the Finance (Head Barbara Schwab-Reininger) and Controlling (Head Juergen Glaser) divisions, we could win the support of Mr. Waldemar Ungefug. Starting March 1, 2022, he will join the PI Group as Global Head of Finance.

Mr. Ungefug has a great deal of professional and managerial experience from small and medium-sized enterprises. Moreover, he has extensive knowledge and references regarding commercial business management and control. In addition, he has skills in the areas of Treasury, Process Automation and Digitalization. Mr. Ungefug has already worked internationally on several occasions and is looking forward to cooperating internationally within the PI Group. I am convinced that, with his professional and personal qualities, he will be an asset to PI.
