Global Sales & Marketing Directors at PI Ceramic for Off-Site Workshop
A few weeks ago, the half-yearly Off-Site Meeting of the Global Sales & Marketing Directors took place in our brand-new PI Ceramic building in Lederhose.
With a planned duration of two and a half days, the meeting kicked off with a Meet & Greet with the heads of the production divisions from PI Ceramic and a thorough company tour - including the cleanrooms belonging to multilayer production. In the last few years, PI Ceramic has grown impressively and has changed a lot. The possibilities and vast potential shown got the team off to an inspiring and motivating start!
The next two days were packed with exciting topics related to our Sales & Marketing strategy, as well as workshops on the following topics: regional sales reviews, updates on CRM with the new Korn Ferry implementation, PI pricing strategy, plus product roadmaps and lifecycles. In addition, a Global Account Management and Segment Marketing workshop was held on “Strategic Implications of the SMM and the Cultivation Matrix”.
On the second day, we welcomed Florian Geistdörfer, Chief Operating Officer, and Andreas Schneider, Chief Communication Officer, to the meeting.
Andreas Schneider gave updates on global communications, MarCom, PR, and branding. The 2023 campaign program was of particular interest with a new approach for PI according to which new sales-qualified inquiries are to be generated more efficiently and specifically, based on KPIs.
Florian Geistdörfer presented updates on the operating model and took the opportunity to initiate an intensive discussion on a strategically particularly important aspect: The post-crisis period - opportunities for creating new, positive dynamics.
At the end of a few very intensive days, it was time to challenge our senses in a completely different way during a 3D black light mini golf team event. Here, the participants had a lot of fun and could recover from the meeting!
