Info Day on Placements and Apprenticeships at PI for Pupils from Ettlingen
At the Bertha von Suttner school in Ettlingen, Germany, young refugees from Ukraine and other countries are learning the German language, as well as being prepared for a school-leaving qualification.
In February 2023, fifteen pupils from the class visited PI in Karlsruhe in order to get more information about internships and professional training in our company.
The PI Instructor Team organized the program for this particular morning. Konstantin Jerger, Engineer Inside Sales – DACH, introduced PI and the products we manufacture.
During a tour of the production facilities, the young people were given more information about the professions with which they are currently unfamiliar.
Together with the teachers responsible; Nicole Herrling, Martina Bhattacharyya, Kathrin Nowak, and Astrid Bohlaender, there was a lively round of questions and answers in the auditorium.
Who knows, perhaps one day soon a curious pupil from this particular school will start an internship at PI?
