Launch of the "Electronics" Division and Filling of the Head-of-Positions
As part of the development of the divisional structure in Operations, key management positions in the "Electronics" division have been filled with effect from March 1, 2024.
Dr. Olivier Mann took over the lead of product development. He has worked at PI since August 2023 and has been active in Global Research & Platforms (GRP) as Director Technology Center Piezo Drives and Systems Global.
The previous head of the value stream "Electronic Devices", Bernhard Geyer, took over as Head of Product Management Electronics. Bernhard Geyer has been with PI since 1994 and can thus draw on many years of experience in his new role.
Markus Unterharrer became Head of Operations and continues to be responsible for the Rosenheim location. Since September 2022 when he joined PI, Markus Unterharrer has run Production as well as the Production Management at the Rosenheim location.
Controllers make a decisive contribution to the functionality of our products. The "Electronics" division acts as a supplier for practically all other divisions. That’s why we need to fill the new organization with life as fast as possible. I wish all three colleagues every success in their new roles and with their new duties.
Dr. Axel Widenhorn will assume general management of the Electronics division on an interim basis until the final appointment of the division head.
