Market Leader for Non-Contact 3D Surface Profiling Selects PI’s Motion Controller

Dear Colleagues,

A company producing non-contact test machines for 3D optical profilometer applications, in particular for measuring aspheric lens, freeform optics, and lens molds, selected PI’s high-performance air-bearing stages for rotating devices under test  conditions.

This included several models, depending on the device’s load and diameter. Originally, the customer continued to use their original motion controller, but our field application engineer was able to show that their controller script could be easily converted to the ACS motion language.

After a successful demonstration, within two days, we received an order for an ACS-based controller system.
