Meeting the Editorial Team of the VDI News in Duesseldorf, Germany

On Tuesday May 10, 2022, our CTO Dr. Markus Czanta and I visited the editorial team of the VDI News (Verein Deutscher Ingenieure) in Duesseldorf, Germany. During this visit, we were able to convey exciting insights into the company history and the current situation at PI.
With its 125,000 edited copies, the weekly paper of the VDI is one of the most important publications for professional engineers in Germany. Therefore, there are two reasons why it is important for PI: For both, addressing potential employees and attract potential customers.
The aim of the visit was to introduce PI to the editorial team and to ensure its position as a contact partner for technological issues. The Senior Editor Martin Ciupek spent two hours of his time for this meeting and was surprised about all the different technological disciplines PI makes important contributions to. He was also interested in the company philosophy, e.g., how the company deals with crises or the current challenges.
Ciupek wants to create a company profile, and we might have succeeded in being taken into considerations when it comes to editorial topics which relate to the markets served by PI, even if just occasionally.
