We would like to inform you about some personnel and organizational changes in the Global Sales division.
Alexandre Barthlen was appointed Director Field Application Engineering on November 15, 2023, reporting to Laurent Melin, SVP Sales.
In accordance with PI’s strategy to become more application focused, Alexandre will organize and lead the global Field Application Engineers team, a key element of the sales organization.
Together with the Field Sales Engineers, Alexandre’s team will actively promote PI and will integrate our solutions into customers’ requests. By combining the unique competencies and technologies of PI, we aim to support our customers in getting the most from our positioning and motion systems.
Alexandre joined PI in January 2021 as a Field Application Engineer for DACH and EMEA. In this role, he was at the forefront of customer challenges and helped reorganize PI’s resources to be more application focused.
Alexandre’s first objective will be to organize communication between the Field Application Engineers from the various regions, as well as strengthen global team spirit despite the different origins. His goal is to help PI become the worldwide reference for precision motion, whilst giving customers the best possible experience on their journey with us.
