On the evening before the LASER World of PHOTONICS trade fair, which is taking place from June 27 to 30, 2023 in Munich, the industry association EPIC (European Photonics Industry Consortium) celebrated its twentieth birthday.
EPIC has more than 800 member companies and is promoting the technological and economic development of the photonics sector in Europe.
We were honored, that on the birthday party at the trade fair center, Stephane Bussa, our CSO, held the first official speech in front of around 250 guests, including numerous PI customers. He showed how, for many years, PI has been enabling new production processes and applications with innovations in the field of Photonics. Afterwards, Mats Hede, Managing Director Hamamatsu Photonics Nordics, and Peter Leibinger, Trumpf’ Vice Chairmarn and CTO, held further official speeches.
At the reception that followed, there were many one-on-one discussions about how innovations in Photonics will rule the world!
