PI Ceramic Presents Breakthrough Technologies at IEEE Symposium

At the start of September 2023, Dan Schultz, Marketing & Business Development - Piezo, attended the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium in Montreal (Canada). As already in past years, the IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium is visited by scientists, small start-up companies with “brilliant ideas,” and industry partners. As most of the participants work with piezoceramic materials, this is a very specialized conference. The participants and exhibitors are made up of institutions and companies from the fields of medical technology (mainly ultrasonic imaging), non-destructive testing with ultrasound hardware / software, and sonic head manufacturing. A total of thirty-two exhibitors were represented.

At the international conference, the latest PI Ceramic innovations, particularly for the MedTech market, were show-cased to the more than 1,800 participants from across the world. The new Langevin transducer sparked great interest especially because of its combination of converter and the appropriate electronics.

The conference was very well attended and gave us the opportunity to strengthen relationships with long-standing customers and partners, as well as to meet potential partners with whom we can build new business in the future.
