PI Company Portrait in the BNN Newspaper

Dear colleagues,

What is the best way to portray a company such as PI? A company whose technology, products, and other applications make it extremely varied and innovative and, at the same time, highly-complex?

Dirk Neubauer, Chief Business Editor of the local Karlsruhe daily newspaper Badischen Neuesten Nachrichten (BNN), has created a company portrait of PI that is highly interesting to read. The article contains accurate observations as well as great respect for the people at PI and their achievements, and a mixture of data, facts and anecdotes. In the article published at the beginning of November in the BNN, he covers everything from PI's in-house photography club to space research, to decrypting the DNA of the COVID-19 virus, and semiconductor manufacturing.

Thanks to PI's increased PR activities since the beginning of the year, Dirk Neubauer became aware of us and contacted us in the late summer. At the end of October, he visited PI in Karlsruhe.

During a tour of the value streams, together with Marco Vogel, Manager Production Management Hexapods – DPG, we were able to inspire the Chief Business Editor of the BNN with a variety of information. In the interview that followed, Neubauer gained some interesting insights into our company history and into PI’s current development.

To support the course of our growth through public perception, we are consciously looking for contact to the media and to editorial offices, both regionally and nationwide. In turn, this helps us when contacting politics and administrations, universities, institutes, research institutes, and, in the end, also for recruiting.

Following publications in the national business press such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) or the VDI news, we are very pleased with the successful company portrait in Karlsruhe's regional press.
