PI contributes to 24th Euspen International Conference & Exhibition
From June 10th till June 13th, 2024, the Euspen International Conference & Exhibition took place in Dublin, Ireland. It showcased significant advances in precision engineering and fostered valuable industry connections. The PI Team made notable contributions to the conference with presentations and training sessions that highlighted our cutting-edge technologies and collaborative efforts in the field.
PI’s hexapod systems were featured in Dr. Tillmann Volz presentation entitled “Compact Lever Actuated Direct Driven 6-DoF Parallel Kinematic Positioning System” on PI's parallel kinematic model with innovative functionality. The 1:1 training session on Virtual Move, PI Gauss, measurement data interpretation, and hexapod usage by Dr. Christian Sander included detailed discussions on custom hexapod systems. Other visitors stopped by to see a poster on frequency domain optimization of a piezo actuator tracking performance using reset control, presented by Marvin Hakvoort. Dr. Cliff Jolliffe gave an overview of the PI Group to the audience, emphasizing the company's role and contributions to the precision engineering sector. Riccardo De Benedictis and Sameer Kalyan represented the PI portfolio at the booth and advised potential customers.
The event was highly beneficial for research and development, attracting attendees who were keenly interested in new parallel kinematics but also in PI hexapod products. The exhibition appearance underscored the importance of PI's presence at Euspen to ensure visibility within the precision engineering community, drive potential technology developments, and stay connected to industry trends and developments.
