PI Donates to Charity for Small Patients in Need
It is important to us, also in this year, to support the German non-profit association “Kleine Patienten in Not e.V.,” which literally translates to “Small Patients in Need.” Within the scope of the nationwide Initiative “Giving Comfort”, the charitable organization has set itself the task of equipping rescue vehicles as well as accident and emergency departments with “Benny, the comforting teddy bear". In addition, the association conducts targeted educational work with parents and emergency staff on how to deal with children in emergency situations, as well as how to actively prevent children having accidents in the first place.
For more than fifteen years, the association has been campaigning for better first aid for “little” patients. As well as the committed team at headquarters in Achern, many voluntary members work for the association.
“Kleine Patienten in Not e.V.” is mainly financed by member fees, donations, income from sponsorships, and benefit events. Through our donation, we are helping to support the association in its important work, so that it can provide some comfort and security to young patients in need. Every contribution, whether through donations or voluntary work, can make a considerable difference in the lives of the affected children and their families.
It is of great concern to us that the association “Kleine Patienten in Not e.V.” can continue its important work and help even more children in need. Visit the German website of the association with the title “Giving Support” here: www.trost-spenden.de.
