Since 2005, numerous high-tech companies in Baden-Wuerttemberg have been organized in the Forum Aerospace BW (German name: Forum Luft- und Raumfahrt Baden-Württemberg, short form: Forum LR BW), which represents the interests of and serves as the voice of the aerospace industry in southwestern Germany. Following the visit of Winfried Kretschmann, Prime Minister of the Federal State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, at the end of January 2023, contacts were established between PI and Forum LR BW and PI joined the association.
At the end of March 2023, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rolf-Jürgen Ahlers and Wolfgang Wolf, the chairman and the managing director of Forum LR BW, visited our company. The guests were very enthusiastic about our technologies and skills as well as our long-term experience in the field of aerospace. Mathias Winter, Director Technology Center - Piezo Drives & Systems - Global, had demonstrated our expertise in a presentation.
In a next step, we now want to identify opportunities for cooperation with the Forum's extensive network and sharpen our own strategy for this market.
The Forum LR BW sees itself as nodal point between industry, science, politics, and society. The Forum's goal is to increase the global competitiveness of local companies through networking activities. It places a special focus on the medium-sized supplier industry.
