PI on Course for Considerable Growth in the USA
New organizational structure and management changes at PI USA. Matt Reck and Walter Silvesky take over as Management Directors

PI Strengthens Production, Development, and Sales in the USA: New Organizational Structure and Management Changes
As part of the implementation of PI's corporate strategy, the organizational structure of PI USA is being realigned. In the process, competencies in the areas of Air Bearings and Engineered Systems as well as our overall production capacities will be further expanded in order to strengthen PI's position in these important product lines on the global market.
Matt Reck Drives the Expansion of Development and Production
As a key element of the strategic realignment of PI USA, the new organizational unit PI DPA (Development & Production Americas) was formed. Matt Reck, previously Vice President Air Bearing Systems, will take over as Managing Director, Operational, on March 1, 2023, and lead this unit.
Matt Reck will report to the Chief Operating Officer of the PI Group, Florian Geistdörfer. The unit comprises all production and product development activities of PI USA. This means that the structures for development and production in the USA mirror those in Germany. Further responsibilities of Matt Reck comprise Quality Management & Integrated Management Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Architecture, Finance and HR.
I feel privileged to be able to take on the leadership role of the talented and experienced team we have at PI USA. I’m looking forward to the phase of our growth and success, and I’m excited to work alongside Walter, who brings decades of experience in our industry to the table.
Walter Silvesky Heads the Commercial Departments and Sales in the Americas
Also as of March 1, 2023, Walter Silvesky, previously Vice President Sales, will take over as Managing Director of PI USA’s commercial functions which include Sales, Marketing, Applications and Service. The focus will be on further developing the above-average growth opportunities in North and South America while continuing to enhance the overall experience of PI’s customers. In this role, Walter Silvesky will report to the Chief Sales Officer of the PI Group, Stéphane Bussa.

The Current Managing Director of PI USA, David Rego, Will Take over a New Director Position within the PI Group

PI USA currently employs approximately 100 people at five locations in the U.S. and is networked in the technology hubs of the East and West coasts.
