PI Wins Ringier Technology Innovation Award
In November 2022, the 'Ringier Technology Innovation Awards 2022 - Laser Processing Industry' ceremony hosted by Ringier Events took place in Shanghai.
Each year, the purpose of this event is to recognize and reward a selected group of innovators from manufacturing in a number of key industries in China.
The aim is to encourage, acknowledge, and reward individuals and companies who have introduced and developed a new idea, methodology, product or technology for manufacturing production efficiency, cost effectiveness or user convenience.
This time, PI China was excited about being awarded with a ‘Ringier’ for the market introduction of the combined motorized stage platforms with simplified integration for use in advanced laser material processing applications.
New applications demand laser material processing at micron level accuracy with requirements that often extend far beyond a laser galvo scanner’s field of view. PI`s automation systems provide better efficient use motion and laser utilization time by the close integration of the motorized stage system, any galvo systems and the laser control.

As China is entering a critical stage in upgrading from 'mechanical processing' to 'optical processing', the requirements on high-precision, high-quality, high-efficiency, and intelligent processing systems have become more popular.
With economic development and the introduction of China’s national strategic policies, the next three to five years will bear witness to a period of rapid development. PI China is striving to play a part in taking China's laser processing industry to the next level.
