Strengthening Community and Overcoming Challenges
A total of sixteen apprentices and students, as well as five supervisors took part in the annual “Apprentice and Student Camp” of PI Ceramic. This was held at the end of August 2023 in Braunsdorf, close to the “lavender town” of Bad Blankenburg, Germany. The aim was again to solve various tasks in small groups and to grow together as a team.
The participants solved challenges together and explored the beautiful surroundings. The activities and tasks included an orienteering run, a pottery class, and planning for our open day, which will take place on October 21, 2023.
Especially for the new apprentices and students who are at the beginning of their training, the apprentice and student camp offered a fantastic opportunity to make contacts. The “established” participants, on the other hand, were able to gain some new experiences - from the development of a group dynamic over several days to the daily feedback sessions.
