Customer Visit to Taiwan to Give Training on PI’s Unique FMPA Technology
PI USA’s Jesse Choti, Engineer Field Application, and Scott Jordan, Photonics and Nano Automation Technologies, spent two days visiting MPI Corporation, a manufacturer of fast engineering wafer probers in Taiwan. Four engineers from the global semiconductor manufacturing leader TSMC joined them on their visit.
Together with remote participant Bill Machado, Engineer Application and Sales, from PI Auburn, their goal was to provide a deep dive into PI’s unique FMPA (Fast Multi-Channel Photonic Alignment) technology, providing hands-on training and an application-oriented conceptual overview.
Afterwards, MPI promoted the event on its LinkedIn feed: “ (…) MPI Corporation integrates PI Hexapod and Nanopositioner with TS2000 and TS3000 series probe station. It really support customers to complete the measurement, including the surface coupling and edge coupling, whatever wafer level and die level. We do believe through the cooperation with PI and customers, Silicon Photonics would advance maturely in the future.”
